How often should I grease?
Different types of motors require different greasing procedures. Higher RPMs such as 3600 may require 3-6 months. While 1800 RPM or less may require once every 6 months. Do not over-grease and never mix grease types.
Why won't my Single Phase motor start?
Check capacitors. If the Start and/or Run Capacitors are in good shape, then bring into the shop and we can diagnose it.
Can I operate a 3-Phase Motor on Single-Phase Service?
Yes, but you will need a phase converter or VFD.
Why does my old motor seems like it is running slow or tired?
Check and verify proper input voltage. If service load has increased beyond motor capacity then motor needs to be brought into the shop for evaluation.
